Full Board at Morecambe

Alan Herron the W.M. of Morecambe Mark Lodge No 716 must have been pleased with the attendance for the latest meeting. Although holidays, work and health reason meant that there were a number of absentees there were still two thirds of the membership present. These were supplemented by a number of visitors from around the other side of Morecambe Bay.

The meeting started with a touch of poignancy as Past DPGM Tony Harrison delivered a touching tribute to David Winder who had been called to higher service whilst our APGM.
Alan Gregory, Chris Butterfield, Tony Harrison and John Newton Stanley
The main business of the evening was an explanation of the Mark tracing board by Kieron Mullan. I have observed Kieron delivering this piece of work at several lodges since lock-down and he never fails to impress. The thanks later expressed by Alan and the acclaim of the brethren was well deserved.

Following the meeting the catering of Maxie Ball once again hit the mark with a very tasty hot-pot being followed by cheese and biscuits. The lively buzz of good fellowship that accompanied the meal typified the magic of the Mark.
